CSV2HTML Util Usage Instructions
This script converts csv file to semi-html ("Wiki Style") format.
The semi-html is internal format used by XStudio for representing tables
in Req./Spec./Test description.
As when working with larger tables, or when wishing to import a table from an existing document,
Writing directly in this Wiki Style may be less comfortable,
This utility allows conversion of the data into required style in order to be pasted into the XStudio.
Copy the full content of this directory, and run this script from CMD terminal (DOS).
You will be asked for source folder, and source file name (easiest to leave as is, and place source file under Example directory).
Result will be same name with addition of ".txt" extension.
For Excel tables conversion - Just save as CSV in appropriate location, then execute as defined above.
For MS-Word tables - Copy & Paste into Excel and...
Note that some MS-Word commonly used characters are considered illegal in XStudio,
and will be presented as "?".
Mainly the longer "–", and left/right tilted " . (Anything other than standard Chr set)
